PUPIL OVERVIEW SCREENThis screen shows practitioners how much evidence has been collected for each pupil under each statement. It allows you to see at a glance where more evidence is needed. The practitioner can indicate when a statement has been achieved, even if no evidence has been collected. This is a professional judgement. Once 'achieved', the box for that statement will have a coloured line around it.

Screenshot 1 is showing the Pupil Overview screen. It shows the number of pieces evidence collected for each pupil under each area of learning, strand and age range/stage (the number inside the box.) The boxes with a purple outline show where the pupils are at baseline. The boxes with a red/green/yellow outline show when a strand has been ‘achieved’ (decided by a practitioner). Where there is a * next to a number – this shows the teacher it is a new piece of evidence. When the boxes are clicked the user is given 3 options (see Screenshot 2). Screenshot 2
When the user clicks ‘View Achievement’ this opens up a further screen (Screenshot 3) showing everything that has been collected for that strand and stage. You can see at a glance when the evidence was collected, the practitioner that collected it, what it is (photo, video, audio or text note) and any notes that have been inputted alongside this evidence. These notes can be amended or added to at any time. Screenshot 3

"It is easy to use and lets you see straight away how much evidence there is on each scale point and also the level the pupil is working at. Now you can view all evidence in the pupil's Learning Journey."
"We recently bought Fingertips and I'm so impressed with it I've obviously been talking to collegues about it. My headteacher was approached by another headteacher asking if I could show her how it worked, as she was equally impressed. I have since showed to our LA Early Years Consultants (Wakefield), who were also very impressed with it and said they would be contacting you regarding it."
